Welcome to SunGuide

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) operates a statewide program known as SunGuide to manage and maintain the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) of our region. ITS is the application of advanced integrated technologies that manages our surface transportation systems to improve mobility and safety along our roadways. FDOT District Six’s SunGuide Transportation Management Center (TMC) serves as the regional command post that monitors and controls these technologies to provide motorists with reliable traveler information and coordination with incident responders within the roadways of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
